ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY

Our bamboo scarves are not only incredible to wear, they have an array of benefits for the environment too. Bamboo requires no irrigation requiring 1/3 the amount of water to grow than is necessary for cotton, essential in a world where water is becoming more and more scarce.

Bamboo rarely if ever needs replanting. The miracle of bamboo is that it miraculously will sprout on its own and one acre of bamboo will yield 10 times more than one acre of cotton. Cotton needs harvesting and re-planting each year.

Bamboo has always been grown without pesticides where some non-organic cotton requires 1/3 pounds of fertiliser per pound and can be determined to use 25% of all chemical pesticides used globally on crops.

Firstly I would like to thank Oliver and James for the very fair and prompt service I received when I made this order. I ordered a, beautifully crafted bamboo scarf as a present for my nephew on his birthday, and living in different county’s I has paid for expedited delivery to insure I would receive it in time to take with me for his birthday lunch, by no fault of Swole Panda, my delivery was not going to arrive on the date I had paid for, now this is a third party delivery service and with the current national health crisis, I was prepared to accept this, however upon emailing Swole Panda, in order to get more information on my order and ask about my delivery, they emailed a reply within 2 hours, refunding my postage costs, I felt this was very fair, and great customer service, in my opinion it showed a level of consideration and care towards myself, but in general their customers, that a lot of companies do not show.
The scarf itself was great, better than described, from the colour and style, as an addition to a classic three piece, or to be worn with a more casual look, perfect. The build quality whilst I don’t have any longevity data, I was impressed as to the craftsmanship and obviously the materials used, as a family we all try to find sustainable, ethical and environmental options for all things, this was great.
This being for my nephews 18th birthday, obviously “cool” was a factor, I’m 44, my brother is 48, we both thought it was a great(cool) product, but more importantly, my 18 year old nephew was stoked with it, very cool, very nice to wear, and that all important knowledge of the materials makes that smile just that little bit better when wearing it, because you know your supporting a great company, owned and ran by great people, who make and provide great products.
In case it’s not obvious, couldn’t be happier. I will, as I’m sure other family members will, certainly be making further purchases in the near future.
