Our bamboo scarves are not only incredible to wear, they have an array of benefits for the environment too. Bamboo requires no irrigation requiring 1/3 the amount of water to grow than is necessary for cotton, essential in a world where water is becoming more and more scarce.

Bamboo rarely if ever needs replanting. The miracle of bamboo is that it miraculously will sprout on its own and one acre of bamboo will yield 10 times more than one acre of cotton. Cotton needs harvesting and re-planting each year.

Bamboo has always been grown without pesticides where some non-organic cotton requires 1/3 pounds of fertiliser per pound and can be determined to use 25% of all chemical pesticides used globally on crops.

My husband had wanted a bright orange scarf for ages. We searched high and wide, even the markets in India, then came across this one and its perfect and very soft.

Lots of Compliments

A lovely scarf which has earned me many a positive comment. Warm and smart - an uplifting, bright colour to banish the end of winter and welcome in the Spring. I wore it on a skiing holiday and it performed well in cold temperatures. Would have got five stars but there is some pilling, which I did not expect from Bamboo. Good service and a return of the socks which did not match in colour was processed reasonably promptly with a personal response on a Sunday - beyond expectations!

The Scarf is so soft, warm, elegant and a perfect length and fits my navy jacket perfectly, so I ordered one in red which will fit my black leather jacket perfectly.
